The judges said of the Realtime entry: “This was an excellent entry. The Time and Motion study provided valuable statistics. Great testimonials and product demo video.”

Realtime Conveyancer is a world-first, end-to-end cloud-based transaction management software built for conveyancers by conveyancers. It streamlines manual and error-prone conveyancing processes that have been largely unchanged for 150 years.

The solution automates up to 75% of administrative processes and brings all parties associated with a residential property transaction together within a single ecosystem, creating a conveyancing experience from “contract to keys”.

The Transaction Management Software (TMS) overcomes three key problems with the current conveyancing practices:

  • Conveyancing takes an average of 42 days to complete. Manual processes are expensive to maintain and mistakes are common. With Realtime’s technology, errors are reduced and the conveyancing process can potentially be shortened by up to 20 days.
  • A lack of transparency around the different transaction stages creates delays and stress for buyers and sellers. Communication relies on phone calls and emails, which can be error-prone and open to security risks. The TMS platform provides a single view of all process requirements and communication between parties.
  • Use of email to convey documents and financial information is a target of scammers, making conveyancing vulnerable to cyber attack. Realtime’s softwarehas been built to world-class security standards.

Ms Dillon said: “Proptech Association Australia has recognised Realtime Conveyancer’s swift progress as the company continues to achieve high levels of market adoption in Western Australia and South Australia.

“It validates our company strategy of expansion and product improvement while giving our clients and prospective customers greater confidence when choosing their conveyancing software.”

The President of Proptech Association Australia, Kylie Davis, said Realtime was a leader within the small but growing number of proptechs in the conveyancing space.

“Over the past four years, we have witnessed incredible improvements in property technology, and accelerating speeds of adoption by the market and it is wonderful to see the conveyancing sector now being transformed,” Ms Davis said.

“The entries were of the highest standard and we had three different conveyancing proptechs in this years awards. Judges remarked on the sophistication of the entries, and the difficulty in having to pick winners. I believe this demonstrates how the Proptech Sector is providing increasingly innovative and robust solutions for domestic and international markets.”
