How to make your life easier by adopting technology

 

You’re a leader in your area. You’re busy, you’re successful, and you know your conveyancing practice needs to be at the forefront of technology to stay that way. But the thought of a major software migration? It can feel overwhelming.

Sally Hamilton from our team recently sat down with Kathy Stolinski, the Director of Adcock Conveyancing Solutions. 

As one of our early adopters in South Australia, Kathy’s journey offers a roadmap for other conveyancers considering a move, advising that it's easier if you make the change feel less like a hurdle and more like an exciting step forward. Here are her top tips:

Kathy’s decision to explore new technology was driven by a clear need to streamline her firm's processes and find a system that could grow with her business. With the South Australian property market booming, she wanted a solution that would enhance efficiency, improve accuracy, and keep up with the increasing demand for faster, more transparent services.

Data security in today’s world is non-negotiable. Kathy recommends all conveyancers choose systems that have top-level security, including multi-factor authentication. Great technology should also play nicely with other players and integrate with essential partners like PEXA, to simplify workflows and make her team’s life easier.

When asked what advice she'd give to other business owners, Kathy's answer was both simple and powerful: "Invest in your future."


Kathy said that to be seen as a leader in the conveyancing industry, you have to embrace technology as a positive. It's about adapting to the ever-evolving landscape and tackling the challenges head-on. As she wisely put it, “Adopt it, make your life easier.”
